TURN ON THE LIGHTS AT SMYTHESDALE
Member for Western Victoria Region, Bev McArthur used a constituency question in parliament this week to ask the Minister for Roads to listen to the pleas of constituents of Smythesdale by installing a pedestrian crossing on Brooke Street.
Member for Wannon, The Honourable Dan Tehan MP wrote a letter to the Minister for Roads in April asking her to direct VicRoads to favourably consider this proposal as a high priority. More than 240 local residents have signed a petition in support of the proposal.
Bev McArthur asked the Minister “Can you help our constituents of Western Victoria Region by ensuring that a pedestrian crossing with flashing lights is installed in Smythesdale?”
